Have you ever wondered about airport security?

After our NavCan briefing, 80 pilots and crew rushed out to the field where the Century fleet was tied down. The gate was locked. Pilots are generally resourceful people, and the thought of standing there waiting for a federal official to arrive with the key was not a pleasant one. Especially with flight plans filed. So we solved the problem. Is it any surprise to see who is leading the charge? There may be barbed wire on top, but those gates lift off easily. When the stampede of Century air crew rushed through, the gate was just as easily replaced. A perfect crime!
